Deputy Chief Minister Shri Keshav Prasad Maurya Heards Public Grievances at ‘Janata Darshan’ Before the Assembly Session

Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Shri Keshav Prasad Maurya today organized a ‘Janata Darshan’ at his official residence before attending the Assembly proceedings. A large number of people from various districts of the state presented their problems and grievances to the Deputy Chief Minister.
The Deputy Chief Minister met each complainant one by one and listened to their concerns patiently. The issues raised during the Janta Darshan primarily concerned land disputes, police assistance, financial assistance for health treatment, and local development works.

Key Points of the Release:
* Instructions for Quick Resolution: The Deputy Chief Minister directed the officials present on the spot and the District Magistrates/Superintendents of Police of the concerned districts over the phone to ensure that public grievances are resolved in a quality and timely manner.
* Emphasis on sensitivity: Mr. Maurya stated that the government is at the doorstep of the public and that injustice will not be allowed to happen to any poor or helpless person. He sternly told officials that negligence in resolving complaints will not be tolerated.
* Development priority: He reiterated that resolving public problems is the top priority of the state government and the objective of ‘Janata Darshan’ is to bridge the gap between the government and the public.
After the Janta Darshan, the Deputy Chief Minister left to participate in the proceedings of the Assembly. Departmental officials and dignitaries were present on the occasion.
